Michael Landy will be among the guests joining Gabriele Finaldi, Director of the National Gallery, for Saint Francis-inspired: Contemporary conversations on Wednesday 12 July at St James's Church, Piccadilly.
To coincide with the National Gallery’s current exhibition Saint Francis of Assisi (6 May–30 July 2023), this series of conversations explores how Saint Francis and his depictions in art might inspire social and cultural change today.
Landy's work was presented at the National Gallery in the solo exhibition 'Saints Alive’, resulting from his time as Artist-in-Residence in 2013.
