Anya Gallaccio and Michael Landy will be in conversation at Turner Contemporary in Margate on Sunday 24 November.
Together, they will discuss sculpture – its materiality, histories and complexities, and how they have both challenged our understanding of it – as well as Gallaccio’s current survey exhibition, preserve, at Turner Contemporary, exploring three decades of the artist’s radical practice.
Gallaccio and Landy studied together at Goldsmiths College in London in the late 1980s, and were both included in the now historic Freeze exhibition at London’s Docklands in 1988 and East Country Yard Show in 1990.
