A full survey of her works from the early 1990s to the present, Keeping an Eye on the World is published for Opie's first European retrospective at Henie Onstad Kunstsenter, Høvikodden, Norway. Catherine Opieʼs photographs celebrate people, subcultures, landscapes and environements, ranging from large-scale colour works to small black-and-white prints. A conceptual framework of cultural portraitism links her various photographic series.
